Please Help Support Our Troops & Haiti Too March 2, 2010

Harvest wants to join with US Army Chaplain David Johnson and his 250 men and 85 women in their humanitarian effort in Haiti. In addition to giving items to the Haitians, we will help the soldiers, as they are living in tents and have no military base to obtain personal supplies. In addition, we want to show our gratitude and be an encouragement to our own Harvesters serving in Iraq and Afghanistan by sending them gift boxes as well. Lists of needed items will be available this Sunday and next in the atrium, so, you can choose what you would like to give. Please return your items ASAP or by 3/21/10. Thanks for your help. If you think money discussions have to be boring or painful, think again! F.P.U. is a life-changing program that teaches you how to get out of debt, save and invest for the future, and give like never before. The goal is not just information, but transformation. This class has already had a life-changing impact on many people here at Harvest, and we’re excited to offer it again. Each of the 13 weekly sessions includes teaching by well known financial speaker Dave Ramsey on DVD, followed by a group discussion. Dave’s style is simple and easy to understand. Essential Truths for Christians – Mark Ocker
How solid is your relationship with God? The Christian life has always been defined and strengthened by doctrines: clear, concise statements of Biblical truth. But how does this work in an age like ours, where the very idea of truth is viewed with skepticism and contempt? This class is a companion to our Sunday morning sermon series on essential doctrines, providing a place to discuss these truths further, and discover how they shape our daily lives.
