In ministering to the needs of others, we will pray for open doors of opportunity to extend the love Christ, and lift up Jesus as the ultimate provider of every human need. Recognizing that God has gifted us in many ways, we will encourage Harvesters to use these gifts in ministering to others.
The H3 logo is a symbol of our ministry. The heart in the center represents God's love expressed through the Gospel. "For God so loved the world that He gave…" This is the heart of our ministry, loving others in words and DEEDS. We purpose to bathe each project in prayer and then watch for open doors of opportunity to share God's love. The hands in the center of the heart represent action…that we are willing to show others God's love backed up by service with no strings attached.
Hillsboro Community Care Day is an annual event, in which "The Church of Hillsboro" joins together to serve our public schools. By combining our resources we are able to make a HUGE difference! This is a very compelling message to a community that rarely sees churches working together and often views Christians as stuck in their own ways or beliefs.
