Read Through the Bible in a Year
As the beginning of 2010 approaches it would be great to commit yourself to reading through the Bible. Below is a list of options that are available to help guide you and encourage you on this journey. Not only do these options provide direction, this journey of reading your Bible consistently will impact your understanding of God and how to put scripture to practice, and then, provide a sense of joy when you get to December 31, 2010 and realize you have read through the entire Bible. Look over the options below and see if any of them will be useful in helping you make the effort to read through the entire Bible in year 2010.

Devotional Guides
These help you stay consistent and provide background and practical applications as you read through your Bible.
- “Daily Walk” – www.walkthru.org – Go to the link “Resources” on the home page and then click on “Devotionals” You subscribe to this for 1-3 years and are mailed the monthly guide. It begins with Genesis 1 on January 1 and concludes with Revelation 22 on December 31. Very easy and helpful guide.

Web-based Devotionals
Some of these have a fee associated with them
There are a number of options with these. You can select reading from Genesis to revelation, or you can select reading it chronologically, or historically, or in combination of some Old Testament, New Testament and Psalms each reading. Each leads you to read the entire Bible in a year. You can use your own Bible or read it online.
