Our Elders

  • Jim Barclay - Elder Chairman

I'm a husband, father and grandfather who treasures those roles deeply. A lifelong resident of Washington County, Oregon, I became a citizen of the Kingdom of God in November 1974 and began attending Harvest Community Church around 1996. In 2015, I retired from a 39-year career as a real estate appraiser, having worked for a savings and loan association, been in private practice, and been employed last by the US Department of the Interior.

  • Roger Hadley - Elder Secretary

Debbie and I have been married for 39 years and we have three grown children. I am a technical writer and I work at Fiserv, which is located in the Tanasbourne area. I have been at Harvest for 17 years and enjoy the friendships that have developed from community life group, worship team, men’s fishing trips, and other activities.

  • Paul Litzenberg - Elder of Stewardship

My wonderful wife Vicki and I have been married for 37 years; we have two grown children and two grandchildren. I work for Qorvo Inc. as an electronics engineering manager. We have been active members of Harvest CC for 23 years, and greatly appreciate the accurate Bible teaching and Christian fellowship that characterize Harvest CC.

  • Aaron Potratz - Elder

I've been married to my wife, Melissa, since 2003 and we have two amazing boys, Daniel and Manny. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with a private practice in Tigard and the Director of a Christian counseling company in Portland. I have been at Harvest since college and love being able to use my gifts to serve the church for the glory of God's name.

  • Matt Guerino - Lead Pastor/Elder

Amy and I have been married since 1994 and our two kids, Elizabeth and Tommy, are quickly moving through the high school and college years. I’ve served in full time pastoral ministry since 1999, including my time here at Harvest which began in 2006. God has given me a passion to teach his Word and to lead his people, and I love the opportunity I have to do those things in my role as the Lead Pastor of a church like Harvest that’s so responsive to God’s heart for his people.

  • Greg Trousdale - Elder

I have been married for nearly 43 years to my wife Sue and have attended Harvest for 24 years. We have five grown kids, four of who are married and eight grandchildren. Both my wife and I are teachers. Now we are both retired and enjoy watching our grandkids that live nearby and visiting the ones that are out-of-state. We volunteer at Love INC and enjoy walking and hiking. I also love science, birding, and biking.. Christ has been my rock and fortress through the ups and downs of life (Psalms 31:3).
