God has created us all with unique talents, gifts, and abilities.  We desire to use these parts of our lives to make disciples of all nations.  We all have the ability to either serve Christ through a local organization, the privilege to travel overseas to serve one of our missionaries, serve our local community, and/or pray for God's kingdom work in all these things.  To find out more about who we are missionally and more details about our partnerships, check out our Local Outreach and Global Missions tabs.  If you are interested in serving in one of the ministries at Harvest, check out the Serving opportunities below.

Missionary Update

"Missions" is not just something we "do"; being missional is who we are as followers of Jesus Christ.  God has given each of us unique gifts to glorify Him with our talents.  It is the role of each one of us to be disciples who make disciples.  Beyond the call to love our neighbors individualy, Harvest Community Church desires to have a clear vision of how we locally serve in our city to further the kingdom of God.  We desire these efforts to be a church wide effort to further the kingdom of God.  We desire these efforts to be a church wide effort to bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ.

  • Serving a local school - Tobias Elementary School

We have a long-standing relationship with Tobias Elementary, which is less than a 5-minute drive from Harvest.  The longer we serve them the more we seek to do for them.  It is our desire to show the love of Christ to the Tobias Elementary administration, students and families by helping them accomplish their vision and care for them in unique ways.

  • Serving those in need - Love INC

The vision of Love INC is to help churches love people.  We have partnered with them for many years as we support one another in caring for people.  Many of the things we do were birthed out of our relationship with Love INC (i.e., the many ways we support Tobias Elementary).  It is our joy to help them be successful as they support us and provide us with many resources.

  • Serving the vulnerable -  First Image

First Image exists to provide life-giving support to those facing unplanned pregnancy.  It is our desire to provide both financial and volunteer assistance for this crucial time in family's lives.

  • Serving the vulnerable - Family Room

The Family Room is a ministry that cares for children and families that are in the foster care system. DHS is limited in time, staff, and resources to give families what they need to be successful during this transitional period.  The Family Room seeks to assist DHS in helping children have a relationship with their biological parents; as well as, aim to help reunite families.  Harvest seeks to financially support and send volunteers to help this ministry reach their goals.

Harvest Community Church desires to see the gospel of Jesus worshiped beyond our city.  We financially support and partner with trusted organizations and missionaries.  In addition, we send both short-term and long-term missionaries into the world.  The entire church has a role in these partnerships as we gain knowledge of what God is doing, regularly pray for the work being done, and send teams to selected areas.
